This line of reusable molds is the result of collaboration between Jayne Persico, well-known glass artist and educator, and master mold maker, Craig Smith. They are perfect for artists and hobbyists to use in quick projects as they merge the age-old art of pate de verre glass casting with modern technology and contemporary design. Colour de Verre glass casting molds create elegant, fun, and beautiful objects that can be incorporated into larger projects or are complete just by themselves.
This is the easiest way to test the results of mixing two or more frits and make perfect tiles for mosaic projects.
- Reusable mold. Packaged with firing directions.
- Open, hollow design promotes even heating and cooling.
- Each of the 16 wells holds 5 grams of frit.
- Fill weight: 90-290 grams. (Most molds have a specific fill weight. This mold doesn't. Smaller fill weights result in small, more delicate hearts.)
