Dichroic and More is delighted to offer Colour de Verre Molds resuable glass casting molds. Color de Verre molds can be filled with glass powders, pate de verre, glass frit or cut sheet glass. They are easy to use and produce beautiful results for your glass fusing projects.
Even though it is called Scarabs and Ankhs, it is really only a single mold. There are seven scarab designs on the front and four ankh designs on the molds reverse. Both are classic Egyptian motifs and the images are sized perfectly for jewelry.Placing a layer of dichro glass into the scarab and topping it off with frit results in a beautifulcabochonreminiscentof art deco pieces.
- Open, hollow design promotes even heating and cooling.
- Scarab Fill Weights: 15, 12, and 5 grams. They range in size from 1.5 to 0.8.
- Scarab Firing Temperature: COE 96 -1375F, COE 90 -1400F.
- Ankh Fill Weights: 4, 2, and 0.5 grams. They range in size from 2.25 to 1.
- Ankh Firing Temperature: COE 96 -1325F, COE 90 -1350F.
